National Hydrography Dataset Workshop

First workshop for 2013: Linking Data to the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) using the Hydrography Event Management Tools. Date:              January 16, 2013 Place:              USGS, building 810 West 6th Avenue & Kipling Street, Lakewood, CO Time:               8:30 - 12:30 Cost:               $40 Prerequisites:  Knowledge of ArcGIS and ArcGIS editing   The workshop briefly will introduce attendees to the NHD but will spend the majority of the time explaining how to reference other datasets to the NHD and perform analysis such as network traces.  Instructor Information : Ariel Doumbouya is a Geographer for the USGS at the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) in Denver Colorado. Her work involves utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). Recent projects include generalization, identifying and resolving datum shift issues, hydro-hypso integration and Hydrography Event Management Tool point of contact.
